You’ll work directly with me throughout your project, developing illustrations that suit your story, your audience and the places they need to appear.

Share your brief, audience and deadline. We’ll agree the scope, fee, payment terms and how the artwork will be used before work begins.
I’ll develop initial sketches so we can agree the characters, composition and overall direction.
With your feedback, I’ll refine the agreed sketches and bring the final illustration to life.
Once approved, you’ll receive the finished artwork in the file formats agreed for your project.

So, every project is very different. The fee can depend on the number of illustrations, their complexity, your deadline and how the artwork will be used. The best thing is to send me an outline of your project and I’ll provide a tailored quote before we commence any work.
The timelines can depend on the scope of your project and also my availability. A single illustration and a fully illustrated book requires very different scheduling. Let me know your preferred deadline when you enquire, and we’ll agree a realistic timeline that works for us both.
Usually a 50/50 split. However, payment structure can depend on the project. Acceptable forms of payment are PayPal, Credit Card and Bank Transfers. I generally prefer whichever is easiest for the client.
Yep! Your feedback is part of the process. You’ll review initial sketches so we can agree the overall direction before I develop the finished artwork. Your quote will explain the revisions included and how any additional changes will be handled.
For the majority of projects, full image rights are included with the quoted price. There are cases where image rights may not be available, however. But this would be advised. We’ll agree the file formats as part of your quote.
Absolutely. I regularly work with clients in the US, UK and beyond. We can discuss your brief, review sketches and share feedback either via email, a messaging service or video call. So you don’t need to be local to commission a project.
